If you are leaving your front fender off the bike, it’s a good idea to re-install the fender bracket and reflectors. The 2 mm thick fender bracket serves as a light duty Fork Brace and the reflectors could save your life.
If you replace the fender bracket without the fender, you will need four 11 to 12 mm thick spacers.
If you remove the fender, I would get four new M6 bolts 25 mm long that have 10 mm heads. The original fender bolts have Allen heads and the last 5 mm have a rough finish that will make you wish Honda had used thread lock.
If you remove the front fender, remove the front wheel first.
