Mods – For more performance

· Change to one of the quieter mufflers (for back-pressure) examples: Arrow, Black Widow, LexTech, Scorpion, Miller, LeoVince with baffle, Musarri with baffle, TBR with baffle.

· Low profile tires – example Front Tire (130/60Z-16) / Rear Tire (160/60Z-16) will be lighter and give you a 7% higher gear ratio (due to the low profile) – resulting in increased acceleration. If you are on the highway a lot, you probably won’t like this since the engine is at higher RPM. The first 100 miles or so is very dangerous, since you are adjusting your driving to the radical change in handling.

· Change air filter at 4,000 miles (instead of 12,000 miles). Use Honda filters.

· Check valve clearance at 6,000 or 9,000 miles (instead of 16,000 miles) and adjust on the high side of the spec. With greater clearance, intake valves will stay open a little longer.

· Be selective adding any weight to bike, such as accessories.
