Problems – SUN GLARE on screen

)..Look in the manual – you can brighten the screen which makes it easier to see in bright sun

)..A screen protector will help prevent future scratches. It might make any existing scratches not as noticable? I would use aluminum wheel polish to try to lighten the scratches – it might not help, though. (FB Group member comment) +1 on the speed angel, especially the matte finish. It hid my scratches and helped day time visibility when reflecting. But it does reduce brightness a bit

)..(FB Group member comment) I have not used this trick on a motorcycle but I put red tint over a screen that was impossible to see due to sun glare. It worked brilliantly. I do not know if regular tint will do the same and I really cant remember why I knew red would work. It was part of my graphics printing education.

)..Try it without sunglasses. Polarized lens can wash out digital displays.

)..Glare shield for screen – I experimented making a cardboard glare shield that circled the speedo and was about 25 mm higher. In bright sunlight it did not help and in shadows it was just a little better. If it worked, i was going to make one out of plastic. Anyway, it did not work for me but somebody else might have better luck than I did.
