Shinko SE890 Journey Touring radial tires fit the Rebel 1100.
They are far superior to bias ply tires, but you have to drive under 20mph until you can go to a parking lot and re-learn to take corners with your bike.
These are great for the money : Shinko SE890 Journey Touring radial – for the front they have your exact size. For the rear I would suggest 200/55R16 – 2.2% more revs on the highway (probably not enough to warrant a sprocket change) and you need ⅜ inch (10 mm) clearance on the chain side. It is 0.79 inch (20 mm) wider.
Stock 130/70B18 Front 82.28C 26.19D and 180/65B16 Rear 79.21C 25.21D.
Shinko SE890 Journey Touring radial Front 130/70R18 (same size as stock)
Shinko SE890 Journey Touring radial Rear 180/60R16 76.98C 24.5D (2.8% more revs) or 200/55R16 77.48C 24.66D (2.2% more revs, lowers rear by .27″ or 7 mm)
200/55R16 7.87″ Width vs 7.09 0.79″ (20 mm) wider
