Get the 300
I usually drive slowly. On the highway I just keep it on 55 or 60 mph.
It doesn’t bother me when other drivers pass me.
I have no prior experience – motorcycle, dirt bike, scooter.
I probably will not go on the highway much.
I probably will not replace the stock muffler (This is important -the Rebel 300 does not always sound good with aftermarket mufflers. The Rebel 500 does.).
Get the 500
I like driving fast / I have a lead foot. On the highway I go 70 to 75 mph.
Sometimes it bothers me when other drivers pass me.
