Turn Signals – flasher location

To get to the turn signal flasher, you need to unbolt the gas tank and raise it up a few inches. Remove the tank bolt (using 5/16 inch Allen wrench). Slide the tank about 50 mm or 2 inches backward until it comes off the mounting “ears”. At this point, you are raising the tank slightly so you can access the turn signal flasher without removing the tank. Put a cloth under the left side of the tank and carefully lay it on its left side. You can attach bungee cords under the tank to the right side to prevent it from falling.
